Tony Vanhorn

Coach Vanhorn is a native of New Jersey and attended Pascack Hills High School where he was an outstanding wrestling winning a state title his senior year.  Tony was a Gatorade All-American in 1984. He went on to wrestle at Ohio State University as a 118lber and was a Big 10 place winner. After college, Tony was an assistant coach at Georgia State University for two seasons before getting into high school teaching and coaching. After a short stint at Lowndes High School in Valdosta, Tony took over powerhouse McEachern High School and had great success. Tony won 6 Georgia State Championships and numerous top 4 finishes from 1996-2008. There he coached 18 individual state champions and 60 plus state placers.

In 2008, Tony moved away from teaching and coaching to move into the business world. He currently works as a financial advisor at UBS Financial Services. Tony is very involved in FCA and is married to his wife, Kelley. He also has two children, Kylie and Ashton.
